Ummm...this nearly killed me. It did NOT turn out the way I wanted. I made a huge mistake with the whip which in order to fix I messed up everything else... Originally I had intended for it to wrap around behind him, but than I realized it was between his back and his wings, which is impossible. Way to go me.
I'm going to curl up in a hole now.
The Balrog of Morgoth. He will eat your lunch.
EDIT: Uh yeah, forgot to mention that I created the stencil and stuff. The drawing took a couple hours for me to complete and I saved the original - if I finish it I might post it. Aaaand the rest was about 15 hours.

And indeed you do! makes me wonder what would happen if you took a day to plan out your amazement on the pumpkin instead of making it up as you go. it would truly be Epic beyond Awesomeness!

Ummm, it is planned yo. I draw a stencil before hand - sometimes several - of what I want to carve. It took several hours in fact to draw the one I ended up using for this one... Then I tape it onto the pumpkin and use a needle tool to poke holes along the lines I've drawn...

Well...unless you want to spend 15 hours slaving over a pumpkin (and that's not counting the time it takes to create the stencil), thereby sacrificing years off your life...it's probably not going to look quite like that,
