i scrapped my first ariel (aka first loish fanart), soi decided to color this one
i'm planning on giving this pic to a friend of mine that is visiting us on sunday (easter!). i htink i've improved a lot using the media of watercolor, and i just really admire this friend. she's incredibly smart, a great leader, terribly nice, and she's a great artist too
she got accepted at duke, so she's coming to check out the school. i ts a good school 
. i'm awfully proud of her.btw, i know that ariel's dress is supposed to be pink. and also, *insert flaming of scanner here*. killed colors again ;_; but at least now i'm used to it. aaaaand as with all other ariel pics, dedicated to

OMG. u should be inspired by better ppls, as in ppl who actually can watercolor, not me. but i'm still uber flattered X3. watercolors are my stressrelievers. i don't care so much if i "mess up" with them. they are just so free and flowy.

watercolors are my stress relievers. they work wonderfully, even though i have the crappiest paper ever (not even watercolor paper!

haha, hate when that happens. actual watercolors now! i saved up 5 dollars and bought a 24 colors crayola watercolor set thing from like, walmart :3 i don't consider watercolor paint. its much different from acrylics and stuffs, which i suck at.

Well, true they're different in feel but I consider them like paints because you need to constantly wet a brush. :3

its so embarrasing in the summer cuz i go swimming outdoors a lot so i get alll tan and stuff and ppl are like, are u indian???!!! except i kinda look more like an inverted panda cuz i wear goggles so there are white rings around my eyes. i'm supposed to be naturally fair, but i guess i tan really easily
