I hadn't picked up a pencil to draw in quite a while, so I felt pretty rusty with this one! In fact, the first night I tried to draw her I almost started panicking that I lost my ability to draw, haha. My second attempt went much better, though it did take more than an hour just do make this sketch. I admit I got lazy with the hands, one of my worst body parts to draw. I do hope to keep up the practice so I can actually finish a painting sometime soon and not struggle so much when I try to draw after so long - it is so discouraging and I'm tempted to give up, which would just make me even more rusty! Anyway, I'm not as disappointed with this version but I still don't consider it a really finished drawing to my standards. OMG - When I saw your sketch I had no idea what incredible artistic talent was going to be on your page. My initial reaction was "oh, that's a cute sketch."
