I took reference from this picture [link] , but =Memokkeen suggested that Simon could be closer to Kaminaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh.

I really like this piece of art, in general I like the step towards anime and drawing people you've taken. The weakness of the artwork is its originality, but hey, it's fanart so what is there to be expected? But besides that, there's a lot of good in your artwork.
I like the technique you've used - your Copic work looks great, and your colouring original, even though part of it is inspired by your reference picture. And on top of this, the Photoshop touch-ups. It is clear a computer has been used on this to add different elements, but what I like about it all is that it is not so easily traceable as to what have you done, exactly. Even though I actually saw what you were doing, I couldn't make a same kind of picture as this.
As an idea this fanart isn't that original, being done with a reference, but the technique you've used to create it is what gives it more originality and value.
Adding the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann title on the lower right corner is a nice touch, but I feel a bit sad that the first Japanese letter is hidden in the darkness of the shades in Kamina's cape. You can notice it's there, but I think a person who knows Japanese can't make it out what it is.
I enjoy the colours and the variation of contrast in this picture. The extremely dark parts against a almost white background seem to balance each other out. Though, looking at the lighter end of Kamina's cape, in comparison to the lights and shades everywhere else, makes you wonder where is the light coming from. Maybe you should in the future consider the source of light, perhaps?
The wind-effect created with Kamina's cape, belt and Simon's jacket gives the picture livelyness, as well as those black petals(?) flying about. They're all very good details that make this picture even greater.
In conclusion I could say that your technique and the impact you create with this artwork is what's really good about it, and things you could consider more are originality and details, such as where is the light in this picture coming from and somehow showing that one Japanese letter from the Gurren Lagann title. All in all, great job, keep it up!

Well, when you're talking about TV Channels that are outside of Japan, then it was on Animax, but Animax is only-in-Asia, and, it might've been on in Japan on many channels, either way, I suggest you watch it online at animecrazy.net, if you're around the USA then youu're not gonna ever have it on TV, I watched it on TV from Animax since my country is inside Asia.

A very lovely and stunning rendition of Kamina & Simon presented though your own snazzy style of drawing. I think what is really nice to see here is how you are quite able to tackle human anatomy/anime based art than only just working the sonic style. It shows us that you are a capable artist that can present just as much love for sonic art within other fields. It also expresses how you are breaking out of the mould and pushing your talents into other areas to learn and master.
You have a very good knowledge of human anatomy and within this piece you have really shown that with a little more patience you will have tackled it flawlessly. There is also a real sense of charm in your style that is easily loveable. You have a interesting style which is a cross between the anime and comic book style, it works well and should be explored much more.
Colour is also well explored in this piece. The mixture of hard and soft brush work is well touched upon and there's a real push of adrenaline that comes forth through the colour.
I think you've tackled this well and shown many expectations for later pieces that will come from your hands.
