I have heard many people talk of nature as if it were a kind and gentle loving being. Nothing could be further from the truth. Only humanity has the luxury to die of old age, sheltered from the cruelty of the wooden canopy. Those who walk the forests live by a simple principle, only the strongest among them survive. Mothers kill their daughters and sons their fathers, in nature the individual rarely matters.

The druids were fools. They worshipped the woods, calling upon an Ouroboros to save the forest. Who knows what they did to draw the attention of Spiritus-Gayzu, but he answered their prayers.
