I really like Armored Core V.
I had some of the games on PSP, but it is so hard using those controls and dealing with the movement styles. AC4 was fun, but it was annoying how everything felt like it was air combat. AC5 really fit my style, and that was one I could really stick to.

All four of them of course! ^^ I'd consider AC3, SL, Nexus, and Last Raven a good series by itself.
