Yep, that play of accidents even you search a lot to make exactly the theme in mind and also a coincidence in relatively close group, amazing!
Get "Shibumi" please my friend, even from a library. We would talk at other level. Ah, and a pencil to underline, mine copy is nowadays underlined the whole. Btw this is a book Hollywood would never ever make a movie based on. They filmed 2 other books by Trevanian, but this one could never pass.

Kidding, well man it's just the book(THE BOOK). I gave it to my father, he began to underline my underlines with felt pen. So bought another one.
In fact even one can't be sure about authors name and nationality, he is hidden really well. As he always makes every nation looks stupid, he was pure mystery and he still is.
