Recently I’ve been studying Edgar Degas. And even if you know little about him chances are you have seen at least one of his ballerina pieces. In my current studies I found myself drawn to the pastel painting titled “Dancer Tilting.” I brought other elements of his work in my character design by using the poses he drew and kept my lines loose and sketchy like some of his other pieces. I also loved the blue in some of Degas paintings so I brought it in as an accent color. Here’s my character design based on “Dancer Tilting” by Edgar Degas.

What’s your favorite Degas piece?
I really like these character designs inspired off of famous artist☺️It’s a lot of fun studying their work and making a cool design from them! I wonder which artist I will study next??🤨
