Alligators seem so chill and gentle when they aren't feeding. One floats dreamily toward the same flowers on a pond-bank every day and just seems to stare at them... others nap together in the same spot in the reeds. Or they float peacefully under a bridge in the mid-afternoon heat---which is what this one was doing
