Shocking! A very old original character appears!

Might as well share this now. She was gonna be part of the lineup of OC portraits showing up in November, but I couldn't make up my mind on the other characters from the story she used to be a part of, kinda flip-flopped between this old comic project, another way older project as well.... before scrapping the idea entirely and keeping the month for characters I'm actively planning on making comics about.
Maybe I'll do the same "portrait per day" for defunct story concepts another month. Or next year.

ANYWAYS, so here's Beth Sparks, a bit of an attitude gremlin that has vaguely changed into multiple iterations depending what I felt like drawing from time to time. She's been through some odd disjointed concepts, from a moody teenager making her ordinary life more interesting by betting her soul to the Devil on a daily basis (yeh that's not a turn of phrase, that's what the premisce was), to a superhero with questionable morals and electric powers (little bit of a wink to it in the drawing), to an enthusiastic hunter of giant bugs... that's a lot. But she's mostly a dysfunctional teen who should definitely consult a psychiatrist and learn to be less of a toxic friend.
I guarantee some of the core ideas for that OC follow in characters I have nowadays (back then I used to only make goody-two-shoes so she was my first attempt at a very flawed heroin), maybe trying to balance them with more finesse tho. She naturally tends to crawl out of creation-limbo from time to time.
