Whoa, some half-portrait thingy I did last month and kept shucking to the side ! A bit of a cheat with all the smoke up his face, but hey, you do what you can when you have an art lean as terrible as mine. And the whole ''half-blind'' works well symbolically speaking in my book, so here's my flimsy excuse. Or at least it sticks well with this character as far as what I came up with, storywise. Heart is in the right place, not so much the head.
Also I swear I can make portraits of guys without involving a lot of smoke.

Here's Joseph Haeck, one of the main protagonists in a webcomic project still in the making and probably one of my favorite characters to draw (despite him showing up only recently in my gallery, he's been in my sketchbooks since high-school, so yeah, that's a while back and a lot of me not knowing what to do with this gary-stu en puissance). This illustration was more or less me going back to draw stuff with more details (instead of the cartoony look Dropping Stars has or the simplistic style Avenue Refrain's got) and playing around with lineart, colors, filters, you name it. Definitely has mistakes up the wazoo but I've got no energy to work back on this piece (anyway I already erased the file where all the layers were set).
Actually... I technically did.

Done on Medibang (the days I genuinely am disappointed by this program are overthrown by the days where I manage to do what I exactly aim to do thanks to it).
