Description First up, I did this years ago (6+) and I think I had a reference picture when I did. For the life of me I can't remember what the reference picture was (a color comic book image, I think), but I recall that all I used from it was the positioning of the arms and hands, which I was originally planning on putting behind her back, as is the case in the painting I am working on (see the scrap of it's wip here --Beware: Mature Content on the wip!).

Anyway, if anyone out there recognizes the image from somewhere else, please let me know so I can link to it and even ask the original artist for permission (well, it's kinda' late, isn't it?).

(Edited August 23, 2006: By strange fortune I have come across the artist in question, whose work I used for reference and which work was lost to him after a hard-drive crash. This gracious individual happens to be a long-term DA member, loraxxx , whose work I admire. Needless to say, I am pleased with the way this whole experience has turned out, and I send credit my new friend's way for his inspirational computer work that popped this image into my head. Muchas Gracias!)

By the way, my experience is that snakes stink. They smell really bad. I'm not into exotic pets. In fact, I'm not into pets of any kind. Not even dogs, cats, birds, or fish. Certainly not ferrets, hedgehogs, or a snake! I read the other day about a pet python that attacked its owner, did horrible damage to his arm, was wrestled off of him by three policemen, and finally shot and killed by said policemen. Yeah, that's my idea of a rewarding master-pet relationship! Sign me up! Does it come with a nose-plug and bandages...?

Enjoy!

PS. I apologize to all those pet-owners and pet-lovers out there. God bless you and your animals...

Yeah, I seem to like "outrage" as much as "dismay," "fear," and "shock." I chose the name "Pit" because it gave some support to why TWO snakes would be moving on her. Glad you like it, as always. --Faile35

Yes, snakes do tend to be alone unless in a pit, don't they? Unless they're the two creation gods from aborogin myth in snake form, but I don't see why they'd be attacking her.

Really? And all this time I was thinking it was "Jean," or something... You're right, though, "Sarcastic" fits you better. --Faile35
