History:
Gwen was not raised on the Island of Jarr. He was raised elsewhere by his mother, who adored him greatly (or so Gwen thought). Through the years, it was just the two of them until age 10 when his mother found a new love. At first, he was very happy, but soon he was put on the back burner and was spent defending for himself as she spent most nights at the man's house. It wasn't long before she wanted to move in with him and told Gwen it was time to be on his own. He was age 12. He spent several days walking alone on the streets, confused and hurt, until a stranger with a shark tail came along and realized who Gwen was (first was curious simply because many taurs do not exist where he originally is from). It was his uncle, on his father's side, who offered to take him home. However, Gwen was quick to admit the truth on why he was alone, so instead his uncle welcomed him to his home. Gwen's uncle raised him all the way to age 18, in which his uncle revealed one of his relatives was living on an island and was willing to help give him a new start away from his mother. Despite a lot of doubt, Gwen took the chance as he felt bad for spending so long with his uncle and not being much help.

He found himself on a strange new place, with his uncle to help him settle in. The two worked together and Gwen found a place of work at a resort in Ice Cream Mountain. Along the way, they happened to stumble upon Kelsy's parents who were quick to recognize the tail of his uncle to be part of the family. They had a talk and agreed to help Gwen start out here in the brand new place.

It's been two years since and Gwenyth is enjoying this new life.
