When I was checking out my gallery, I noticed something. I had two pictures made of my favourite character from the Silent Hill -games, Heather Mason. The first one was absolutely horrible thanks to it's failing colouring and drawing. The second one was ruined due to the stupid-looking drawing style I tried. Now, I wanted to honour Heather with at least some sort of picture I could be content with. And that I am.I love the roller coaster part in Silent Hill 3 - it's genious how they use it twice. I wanted to draw something related to it and therefore this came out. Things are not looking too good for Heather...
I absolutely love how this turned out. It definitely has its flaws but overall I like the results and how it looks.

I love the Amusement Park (second visit) part in Silent Hill 3, and the part on the tracks is almost like something out of Final Destination or something

The Amusement Park's also one of my favourite parts: the beginning part makes a stunning start for an amazing game, and the latter part just connects the beginning perfectly to the end :3

Even though I love the whole Silent Hill -series the Silent Hill 3 is my favourite. It's almost my favourite game of all time too next to Haunting Ground (don't know if you've heard of it). But yeah, the story, characters and everything in it is perfect.

I should've checked you're gallery better through! And I had already seen your "Belli and the Beast" in Haunting Ground group too. Haunting Ground has a special place in my heart, since it was the first horror game I ever had. I was so young that when I first fought Debilitas, I had to throw my controller at wall and stop playing. After a while I encouraged myself to try again, and that I do not regret! Its gameplay is nothing like other games' and every playthrough is different - you'll never know when the enemy is coming. And the story is deeper than meets the eye in my opinion ;3
But yeah, too bad not so many people know about it... It's such an amazing game =3 It's one of those games that truly scare people (even though nowadays I like to just beat up the enemies :'D)
And heck yeah I checked your art immediately, should've checked it already but... lazyness... I really liked you Haunting Ground pictures. I would accept any one of them as my computer's background, and you know, I'm VERY picky with my backgrounds ;3 You do such fantastic editing work I can't believe it 83 I tried to pick my favourite, but I couldn't! Maybe Closed Mind, since I like its black and white style the best ;3

I really didn't like Clocktower 3. Firstly, I had a horrible time finding it, since it isn't sold here in Finland. When I finally got it, it was very easy and short game. And characters move in cutscenes as if they had seizures :'D It relied too much on the gore part and the horror part was missing in my opinion. And I believe more people prefer Clocktower 3 to Haunting Groud - which is not right >_>'
I also liked I Am Not Complete
I'm sure there'll be great art from you, that's why I watched ^_^

Actually thinking back, your right, me and my mate finished it in just one day which was really disappointing. I just remember liking the Sledgehammer guy (oh yeah, his name IS Sledgehammer!) but not much else. Plus I found the whole turning into an angel thing and shooting arrows to be a complete change of atmosphere.
I think the only reason most people prefer Clocktower 3 to Haunting Ground is because Clocktower is a series, rather than just a one off game, at least that's what I like to think XD

It's Cleaning Time Now was my first Photoshop edit so it was really experimental (hence the random change of hair colour and blood red eye and so on) but in the end I liked the mix of colours and the Killing misplacing Cleaning thing so I was happy. I must've done something right if people with good gaming tastes like you liked it anyway

Same for me, I think the Sledgehammer was my favourite. And as you said, the ending was just dumb. The beginning was promising but they ruined the game... And I believe Haunting Groud was first meant to be Clock Tower 4, but then they changed it to Haunting Groud o_o' That would explain the similarities in gameplay such as the panicking.
For a first Photoshop edit it's really good! =3
And btw, I just made some fanart for Haunting Ground too ;3

Ah well yeah that would make sense, though one of the best things about Haunting Ground is the Gothic setting and old fashioned horror, it wouldn't've worked if they were ghosts and Fiona shoots them with an arrow or something lol watching woman running from killers screaming is very worn down and boring in most horror films, but Haunting Ground really injects the horror into the player
And I did see lol I actually favourite'd it before I even knew it was your work, hence I've only just now left a comment XD
You did a great job on it, I could never be so good at the colouring and shading like you are, I love your picture the more I keep looking at it lol

Well, Fiona CAN shoot in her cowboy-suit, but it really sucks xD' Part of horror theme - awkward controls makes it more scary! And ghosts in my opinion aren't even that scary - I have all of the Fatal Frame -series, except for the fourth, and they aren't that scary : )' Haunting Ground tops on my scary game list, and that's a good achievement since I collect horror games and have like thirty horror games ;D

Ah the Fatal Frame series.. I played the 2nd one for a while, but once you get used to the ghosts popping up every time you look into the camera it get's a little old. It's still a pretty unique game I think and the black and white Japanese style is effective, but whereas I agree that slow responsive controls add to tension in horror games Fatal Frame's are usually just slow and aggravating at times. Don't you think?

Yeah, I'm a horror fanatic ='D Even though almost half of the games I own aren't even sold here in Finland I find my own way to get my hands on them.
Fatal Frames really aren't that great of a games, but I guess they're not the worst. I like the third one a lot :3 And even though the second one wasn't my favourite, I'm looking forward to the new version of it they're releasing this year. I really liked the Japanese style in it like you. It was well done! And as you said, Fatal Frame doesn't really understand the idea of clunky controls. It doesn't mean that I want my character to be so slow it takes half an hour to move from one area to another :'D

Ah I know how you feel, this one game on the PS2 called Rule of Rose I desperately want, but some blithering idiot decided it was perfectly okay to release it all over Europe, all except the UK for some reason >.< the game hints towards gay child relationships and lots of child bullying, so this jackass in a suit thought it was to bad to be released where I am but fine everywhere else -_-" what a horse's ass!
Oh yeah what new Fatal Frame are they releasing? Is it a remake or a sequel?

Whee, Rule of Rose!!! 8D It's one of my favourite games! It's story is SO deep and leaves a lot of room to speculation I absolutely love it <3 But I really know how you feel about the issue - they had the same thing done here in Finland. I also remember these stupid arguments about "burying people alive and gay child relationships" but you know, the people who made these arguments had only watched the trailer which could have led to misbelieve that game was something like this. I had to order it from eBay or something from France, but it was totally worth it! If you can get your hands on it in any way, I recommend it - hopefully you can, even though they aren't selling it in UK :<
The new Fatal Frame is a remake of the second game and it's on Wii. It has new controls, new areas to explore, new endings and supposedly something else :3 And the only place excluding Japan they're releasing the game is in Europe! (Americans are maaaad xD) It's going to be called Deep Crimson Butterfly I believe =3

I don't see the point of releasing games only in certain places, one of my favourite games on PS3 Valkyria Chronicles had the same issue, I loved the first one but the two sequels were only released either in other countries or on the PSP (which I don't have -_-) They should know that there are avid gamer's like us who would love to see them released or more sequels made, and the companies are only going to make more money so why the hell not?! lol

Well, you won't regret you decision if you buy the game =3 It's not as hectic or anything like Haunting Ground, but the story is one of the deepest I know. And story means a lot for me.
Just as I told you about the name "Deep Crimson Butterfly" they announced it's going to be called "Fatal Frame Too Wii Edition" - a duller name in my opinion >_>'
I have seen some gameplay of Valkyria Chronicles and I really love the artstyle =3 I've even been thinking of buying it sometime in the future too 83 I don't even know if they sell the sequels here in Finland, but they better be :'D And daamn, I hate PSP >_<' Unnecessary console... Sometimes I can't figure out the game companies' logic in where they release their games... I was so mad they decided to not release Catherine here in Europe, but luckily they finally did release it ^^'

Well if you love Storyline then you may like Valkyria Chronicles, it's probably the most emotional game well.. besides Metal Gear Solid 4 I have ever played on PS3, and it's definitely the most tactical game I have ever played. It manages to be very tactical but never boring, which I like

Yay, another game on my shopping list of games - there's already too much stuff on it xD' I have also played Metal Gear Solid games but 4 I've only watched on youtube (well, it's mostly cinematics so I think it's logical to just WATCH it x3') and yeah they're really emotional and deep games. I suck at tactics, but that's also what makes it fun I guess ='D

Haha yeah that sounds like MGS 4, first time I finished that game was 19 hours gameplay, the second time (where I kept skipping the cinematic's) took only 9 hours gameplay

Ooh, muistan tuon vuoristoradan... onnistuin pelaamaan Silent Hill 3:sen melkein loppuun asti, kunnes se kaatui ja lakkasi toimimasta... nyyh, en päässy kirkkoon asti tai pieksemään jumalaa päin naamaa. :<
Tausta mielestäni onnistunut hyvin, mutta Heather tuntuu hitusen liian tukevalta vyötärön alemmalta puolelta. Asento on hyvä ja ilme tosiaan ettei juuri kiinnosta hypätä sivuun vaunun tieltä.
Jalat eivät minusta ole liian lyhyet, vain hiukahkon liian paksut. :3

Löysin jostain kaupasta sellasen kanipyyhkeen, mutta enpä tyhmänä ostanut - olisipa vainonnut minua sitten täälläkin ^_^' Piti oikein tarkistaa, mikä toi Pendulum oli, mutta eipä niistä örkeistä paljon haittaa olekaan mulle ollut; hitaita ja niitä on vain parissa kohdassa :3'

Ei niistä ollut yleensä, mutta kun peli jumi välillä siinä vaiheessa kun monsut tuli esiin. Pendulum erityisesti oli semmonen joka tuotti huonoja muistoja.

Siis aivan mahtavaa, noi valonsädekeilat (vai miksi niitä pitäisi kutsua, tiedätkö niiden oikeaa nimeä..) ovat niin kauniit ja sulautuvat tohon kuvaan ihanasti; muutenkn nuo varjot on just prikulleen oikeassa paikassa plus häipyy kuvaan tosi nätisti asteittain, niin ettei missään kohdassa näy "töksäytystä" 8333
Lisä ansiota saat multa vielä taustasta, ei perkule kun noi raiteet on ihan tarkat ja metallisen näköiset, sellaiset joita mä haluun tehdä kun sanoin oikeen aidon näköinen kuva!! Plus ruosteet ja puut näyttää aivan mahtavilta!! 8''DD

Ja metalli on kyllä ihan pirun hankala materiaali värittää, tässä kuvassa onnistuin, mutta aina ei käy niin hyvin ^^' Mutta hienoa kuulla, että materiaalit näyttävät itseltään! Se onkin ollut tässä tarkoituksena laittaa oikein tehotarkkailuun työskentelyssä lähiaikoina :3

Naama on yleensä ongelmallisin osio ihmisten piirtämisessä, mutta kerrankin onnistuin : ) Anatomiasta sen verran, että esimerkiksi jalat ovat liian lyhyet ja paksut, mutta jotenkin se ei tällä kertaa itseäni haittaa :'D
