As soon as I watched Maleficent I felt inspired to draw her, but then I went on holiday and couldn't take my colouring tools with me, so I had to wait until I came back to finish her xDDmaterials: watercolour pencils + photoshop CS6

Beautiful! Looks like you drew her in her adolescent stages. That child look is gone and she looks more like a woman here. She looks sad here and I have an idea why. Makes me want to scream out...get away from that monster before he hurts you!
It was a good movie and I enjoyed Jolie's portrayal of Maleficent. Even though I am not a big fan of hers, I was very much drawn into her performance. She made me fall in love with Maleficent.

Oh, thank you so much for this comment! It's nice to know you noticed about her being a teen here, and I really liked the movie too : ) I'm not a big follower of Jolie's works either but I have to say I really loved her as Maleficent.

Yeah, I can see she is in a transitionary phase. She looks in between her childhood and woman look from the movie.
I figured here she is slowly realizing that her love in Stefan might be ill placed as he comes to see her less and less.
That is funny that you and I share that in common that we both are not Jolie fans, but love her as Maleficent. Goes to show her ability as an actress. For one I don't really find myself attracted to Jolie herself, but I find myself very attracted to Maleficent. He whole face has just a very unique look that I find very appealing. Of course there is the long brown hair and horns too. (I have a soft spot for brunettes with horns anyway).
