Hope waits amidst our wildfires
as we shed sooty tears on the remnants of everything we knew
Here we live in the burned lands
and wait for sunlight to cut through the smoke

Vetru is always one of those difficult esks to write about because i see myself quite strongly in them.
I had other thoughts but i lost them while painting, so i suppose they're in the art.
