who are these characters where is the context what year is it why am i asking you all these questions

They are characters from Agatha's past. There is her two brothers and her mom, who abandoned her at a young age when she bumped her head a little hard on a rock. Her only companion was another loner, Russet, who taught her everything he knew and never gave up on her. Unfortunately, Russet got in trouble with a small pack after eating the leftovers of their kill and chased him down and killed him.
