Is Mist a small wolf? O: Or is Magpie just a large wolf? lol I feel like there's a very noticeable size difference, and if you intended to do that then great job! And if you didn't then even greater job for making them distinct! lol

Mist is 30" and Magpie is 33" Yeah I think I should have shrunken Mag's size a bit

I just love how distinct you make your wolves. Magpie's eyes for example. I wonder if I should start adding attributes like that to my wolves ;w; because they're so beautiful!

I think that would be awesome, it definitely helps with getting your character some distinction from the others. I take inspiration from Disney characters and such : 3

I mean for a while I had a very disney like style, my wolves were very simple and they're body shapes were a lot like yours. I've been trying to change it to more detailed in hopes that it would look professional, but I loved drawing in my old style Dx

Yeah, a problem with me is getting things diverse, and it really sucks when I get it too complicated to draw it again XD
A lot of artists like you can make some great creative designs, especially for a wolf coat. I'm really simple, Mona was the closet I could get from out of my comfort zone of different colors that blend well.

Well I do reference a lot when making wolf designs. I look at other artists realistic wolves and I think hmm what would look good on my wolf? And then I make combinations XD So I guess that's not very original of me, but it's how I get by lol. If I designed it on my own they would be very simple 3 color designs or even 2 color. My Wolf Pack comic cast are all very cartoony and they have very simple 3 color designs.
My only thing is that I'd love to turn my DotW wolves into that style, but that group specifically is striving towards realism. So I'm torn between learning cartoon and learning realism Dx

lol I'm kind of in the middle of realism and cartoons. I love cartoons, and I'm a fan of simplistic designs, 2-3 colors and such. You got a good cartoon style for your wolves outside of DoTW

Yeah for my comic cast I LOVE drawing them in my simple cartoon style, its fast and easy. The DotW style I made is very complex and takes a while to make, I just gaahhhh I'm torn!
