While I love to make it clear that Ruby is a bitter-ass stick in the mud with no regards for others' feelings, there are moments she is soft and compassionate. For example, she loves her sisters and cares deeply for them. She's always been the second parent when her and her siblings where growing up, even though she didn't need to be. She takes in a lot of stress in taking care of those she loves, and sometimes the weight of the stress are too much to bare, not that she would ever admit that.
