Description
Madge McClaire is fairly new to the Membranes' hometown when she meets the eccentric and infamous boy genius, Dib, and instantly gets wrapped up in his latest plan. This motorcycle chick is snarky, sarcastic, and street-wise - but as she gets to know the young paranormal investigator, she discovers a strong maternal instinct she's never really had the chance to realize. She's in about her mid-30s, yet has never had kids of her own and has never really even fallen in love. She also has an unabashed sweet tooth.Madge isn't sure she believes in aliens, but her calm indifference on the matter is a delightful change of pace for Dib, and he wastes no time in sharing everything he theorizes with her. She goes along with what she believes is the kid's healthy curiosity and imagination…that is, until she meets Zim herself in all his undisguised glory. Green-skinned, bug-eyed creature aside, she has enough of a soft spot for Dib to go along with the plan to keep Zim a secret and helps Dib keep him hidden from the authorities. And when Dib is ever in danger, she's the first to charge in on motorcycle to protect him.
She lives alone in her newly-bought scrapyard with her cat, and is used to spending her days working alone, creating new works of miniature art from the junk in her front yard, and occasionally taking the time to beat up a few virtual vampire piggies. She may also be exactly what Professor Membrane needs when it comes to learning what it means to be a supportive figure in his son and daughter's lives.

OH MY LAND I DREW A HUMAN!!! AND ONE I DESIGNED MYSELF AT THAT!!!
Yeah, anyhoo. In the development of writing "Little Lost Invader", I realized that Dean was a crucial part of The Iron Giant - and with Dib as the main character, it opened an awesome door to explore the absence of a mother figure in his life. It also allowed me to create a character that I've never ventured into before. Not only a human OC, but a biker/punk type and one that could fit into the Invader Zim style. And I'm quite surprised how much I've gotten attached to her and the image I had in my head for her from early on. Someone who had that tough biker girl persona, but also a woman who could step up and be a supportive mother to our little paranormal big-head sweetheart.
(And I am aware that she still looks a bit…….clunky. I'm not used to drawing humans. I think her body came out pretty good, but not sure of the head. Gotta work on that. And the buckles on her boots seem to be on the wrong side……. Oops. Well, at least this way you get to see what they look like.

Been meaning to comment sooner but I've been MAD busy with holiday stuff lately Plus I think my computer had a stroke or something-- hopefully I'm getting a new one for X-mas. So yeah, anyway, awesome design! ^_^ I love that she looks a little tough, but still feminine and kind. The colors are nice and fit very well for an IZ character. She's definitely the kind of person I could see being a great mother figure for Dib and a very nice stand-in for Dean, and I could absolutely see Susan Egan voicing her. I think she'd be a perfect choice-- Meg certainly had that tough-chick exterior thing going on, but was really soft-hearted once you got to know her. Great job! I'm really looking forward to reading this fic when you're done ^^

Hey, I've been there before, I understand. Especially with this time of year (we just had the floors refinished and lost access to the kitchen for a few days, THAT was fun. XD) I definitely need more practice on drawing humans, but I really appreciate the comment!
I've honestly been in love with the concept of Susan doing her voice; I found a song of hers and I just sat listening to it and looking at pictures at Dib and his family and just thought "Yes, this voice would fit in this family."

*cracks fingers* Time for an artistic critique.
The color palette is awesome, very pleasing to the eyes. Good call in doing the lineart for stuff lik the boots and buckles lighter, it makes it stand out more.
The body for the most part came out good but there's a few things that could be changed. For the left arm I don't think you need to have the little line going through the arm. I think just the way the outside contour on the arm works makes it show the joints you need to show. The head is okay but it seems off, especially for the style. They have a more square like head, and the arms and legs could use some work to look more show accurate. c: They're thinner as they get down to the hands and she'd be slightly more spindly.
Love the design over all. Epic hair, clothes, and everything. Hair is my favorite and the eyes really stand out.
I shall rate this an overall 8/10

I honestly had to improvise with the lineart as I can't use Flash or Illustrator anymore. D:
Yeah, I realized the proportions of the limbs were kinda off. I think after I while I was just trying to make the anatomy look legit. XD
Thank yoooooouuu!!
I fell in love with the hair too and the eye color with it.
