Description

I found a bunch of old files, and as I was feeling really down and uninspired, went through some of them and started remembering things, but also, started to notice the mistakes in anatomy, in color choices and design. I do feel embarrased about the older version xD I even remember feeling embarrased when I first uploaded it! I hid it, I think. But now, it has to be shown, because the newer is sooo much better in my eyes.

I love cell-shading and that's the first thing I changed. The original color uses a lot of soft brushes and although it looks... meh, soft, it kind of makes me feel it also looks boring, no contrast, no focus. Cell-shading changes that immediately, light source becomes obvious.

On anatomy, well, drawing, I am soooo happy the newer one shows the original idea, a couple boys training with their older master. First one is just a sorry excuse for my lack of ability drawing differences in ages, sorrry nvnUu

Gesture also changed, while the older one looks like a clash between chars fighting for attention, the newer one looks like the couldn't care less about the world around them, and I love that
