In which Derenze and Vera have a Napoleon moment and Kayoss swiftly rethinks how brave he is. (His venom may be exceedingly lethal, but its use requires him getting within killing distance, and that is nope.)

Side note - falcolfs can't close their mouths when their fangs are active (full of venom and thus not lodged at the roof of their mouths, out of the way.)
