Description
requested by - Sukra walking in on Kelveniska and Ki having a conversation (presumably about him,) with Ki speaking his kitten gibberish which only Kels understands.
Sukra better give up the food quick, Ki’s looking pretty nippy there.
I'm having a ludicrous amount of fun drawing these silly conversations between Kels and Ki haha.

I really like this idea, and I like getting to see it in such an early form of storytelling even more so! By the way, did you ever get the note I sent you a few days ago? I know sometimes when you send things over a mobile connection, they sometimes mis-connect for some reason!

Thank you! Rough comics are fun, haha. I replied just now, I'm sorry that I took forever getting back to you!

Hungry Ki means don't curl your fingers around the food. I had a horse keen for a treat inhale my hand once, fortunately he realized he had fingers and carefully spit them out before he could chew on them.

Oh my gosh, yes and Ki probably wouldn't even notice that he had your fingers until it was too late. He's only careful with Kelveniska's hands. (Drakoon cheda have a lovely built in instinct to avoid biting or otherwise harming their parents haha.)
So far the only time I've had an animal mistake my finger as food is one time when I was feeding my old cat Mama Kitty a bit of cheese and she was a starving pregnant kitty, so she wasn't really watching her teeth. She didn't nip me hard though so it was fine.

It's good not to chew on your parents. I can imagine little dragons being pretty destructive in play, I assume everyone has homes that are built to take punishment.

Oh gosh, Ki's the worst. He's always having to be shooed away from his dad's desk and if he's not biting that (luckily drakoon can't chew but drakoon cheda do obsessively grab things in their jaws which can still be pretty destructive although not as bad as a puppy) he's setting his teeth against the supply crates, or blankets, or doors, sometimes people's arms... There's one particular blanket that he has it out for, he's always running around flailing the heck out of it and generally killing it over and over haha. He would not be so awful if he was smaller but he goes through the throws of kittenhood very late (having missed out on it growing up with humans) so he's a bit bigger than he's should have been when drakoon cheda usually figure out how their jaws (and claws, talons and tail spines!) work.
He's very grabby with his mouth anyway. He also gets kind of annoying for a while when he figures out that he can smack things with his paws although he knows from his first day transformed what the heck his tail is for. (Which is a relief, nobody wants him playing with that very much!)
