Description
A pair of dapper well hatted sheep try to convince their shepherd’s confused border collie that they’re not livestock to be herded - my first non-Christmas card design! Unfortunately, it’s finished far too late for this year’s celebration of St. Patrick’s Day but maybe I’ll have some of these puppies out for next! (Although I might print one or two anyway haha. This is too funny and cute! Poor collie!)

I do the palettes of these cards in monochromes. Last time I did blue, this time it’s green. (Thus, complimentary accent colour is red, as orange was for the last one.) Woo. Glad this is done before the date, I feel great now!

I’m not sure where this silly idea came from but it made me giggle and since it involved drawing sheep (and a border collie!) I just had to draw it.

A.N.: Yep, I know the collie is huge. I might fix that, I might not.

Border collies originate, as their name suggests, from the border region in the UK whereas St. Patrick's Day is Irish. (So really, border collies and sheep might not have much to do with Ireland.) However, nowadays border collies (and their sheep) are found the world over (and sheep are in fact more widespread than collies.) The point of this card design was to make something amusing and joyful. Hopefully that is the feeling that people get from looking at it!
