Description
An old bat-loving friend of mine recently returned to my area which prompted this card design.Cheap use of leaf brush haha, but I didn't feel like doing something more painterly/detailed in regards to the background. Also didn't have much time.
Sketched in Autodesk Sketchbook Express and finished in Adobe Photoshop CS4. I would not pay money for Sketchbook Express; I got mine free with my tablet. It's an absolutely wonderful program for small sketches but with a maximum of six layers and no Magic Wand Tool, it's useless for images that are more complicated such as large digital paintings. I would recommend the Pro version for that. (And I would recommend Photoshop above anything any day.) Sketchbook Express is more fun than Photoshop for doodling in though. (Unfortunately that's all it is good for!)
First time colouring a fruit bat hehe.

Haha, yes, how'd you know? (I don't think I could have wrapped my brain around drawing it upside down haha.) Thank you!
