So several years back, my brother and I were up around 4 in the morning talking about '28 days later.' We got into zombies and the like. I don't remember how we got to this conclusion, I assume it involved alcohol, but but came to the following absurd revelation:"The Scottish invented Moltov Cocktails centuries ago to fight off the impending Zombie Hordes that will one day roam the earth"
...wtf??
So a few months ago, I started to redraw the character, didn't have room for the Moltovs, but I decided that if there ever are zombie hordes, I'm attaching a bowling ball to a chain. It's not perfect yet, but nothing ever is, so if I figure out what its missing, I'll change it and add the new version. But I read augustc4's dead rising journal, and decided I really wanted to post it. So here it is.
I couldn't find a better category for it cause it wasn't comic fanart and I don't consider it anime or a cartoon.

That is epic... the buster sword and the golf clubs are as bizzare combination... but it's the bowling ball on a chain that steals the show, I'm going to make one of those... then give it to my worst enemy and stand behind a blast screen.

I like the pose and the expression of the scothish guy. The only thing I see is that the arm could be a little more dinamic considering the movement his doing, but that's just me and my perfectionist mind!

But this is certainly a good work with a lot of fun details. Also very colourful. Nice job.

haha. this is hilarious. the scene it itself is wonderful. zombies are awesome. anyways. the coloring of this is very nicely done. the expressions are definitely amusing also. wonderfully done.

All I can say, though, what a pretty amazingly unique concept you got out of it and I really REALLy like the composition and expressions. Its dead hilarious to me.

28 days later huh? Isn't it weird that its a zombie movie where the zombies are fast, and aren't actually zombies? nice idea with the bowling ball by the way, lol...

I know, go figure. Good movie though.
Half way through drawing this I realized how perfect of a weapon it would be. Think about it: Bowling ball on a chain. Heavy, blunt weapon that won't get stuck in the zombie, can be used as a weapon of varying distances, and should be able to withstand a few good swipes without loosing and structural integrity.

they were named as that in Finland because of Viacheslav Molotov (russian)

Dont worry man i didn't know too much about that neither XD I thought molotov cocktails were entirely russians XD was a curious info. Know may u can do a drawing with a russian throwing cocktails to zombies XD greetings ^^

*shiver* Zombie's give me the creepies!! ^_^; But I really love what you have done here...the fact taht you added the extra zombies in the background really makes this stand out!! I mean you could have just stopped at one zombie...but I like that you added the extrac "Crawly" factor!! it's really ominus!! Poor Roddie must have his work cut out for him..
The coloring you did for Roddie really makes him stand out... that is an excellent use of color and contrasst...

there's more than one thing going on here..too bad i cant view a bigger picture than this..its hard to look the details
although this piece needs to be look more than 1 minute to actually understand the comic story ere

Glad you like it. If I ever get around to it, I'm going to clean up the linework and make a wallpaper version of this. I'm just never happy 100% with how things turn out and I want to get it perfect before I make it bigger
