You've managed to capture his youth quite well here, I must admit.

I like the concept and the closeness of things. I find it interesting how you've almost filled the whole frame with him...

I'm not too sure about the saturation and contrast. I guess the effect created shows his roughness, perhaps? I just... it feels a bit too fake and too much for me. That's just personal preference, though.

I think you've caught the atmosphere and mood well, either way. You've definitely portrayed it to great effect.
