Alright... i'm actually going to make a go at this one... although i really didn't have the time i wanted to make my pages up to snuff (i won't be in a place where i can scan pictures in, so i busted my ass to get em done in 2 days...)

Name: Vernon Bishop "The Jack of Diamonds"
Age: He forgot
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 160 lbs (roughly)
Race: HUMAN
Occupation: Co-founder of the Anti Magic Protection Agency

Abilities: He's cursed... or blessed... whichever you would have it. Basically, he's got amazing luck, which directly translates to bad luck for the people around him. Things like, somebody takes a shot at him, and should have hit, but misses. However, this ability only works when he takes advantage of it. If somebody misses their shot, and he stands still, it's not likely they will miss again... i hope i've made myself clear.

In addition to luck, he's also the byproduct of a curse. Basically, this dude pissed off this really powerful witch a long time ago, and she cursed him. So long as the dude, the witch, or the curse exists, Vernon needs to exist as well. He's been dead for a long time, yet he's still alive. He's been killed many times, yet he always seems to wake up the next day. Basically, he can be killed, injured, sickened, burned just like a normal human. He feels pain, just like a normal human, but all his ailments heal at midnight. These ailments include, but are not limited to: Drowning, incineration, decapitation, annihilation, obliteration, disintegration, and other extreme forms of death, as well as non-fatal injuries. Yes, he can grow back an arm, or a body for that matter. That being said, things aren't working quite right for him within the nightmare realm. But i'll get to that later

The third and final ability he has (counted as supernatural), he's able to alter the shape and properties of iron. He carries around a 30 lbs iron ring (condensed by him) which he changes into items of use. These items include, but are not limited to: Axes, swords, knives, shields, armor, gloves, springs, keys, spears, hammers, maces, flails, battering rams, and other tools he finds useful. He can NOT make items which could not be made of iron... This means, no bows, no explosives, or other things of that sort... The iron does not need to remain attached to his body for him to use it. When using armor, the more of it he uses, the thinner it becomes and the less it will block. Even with him hardening it well past any level iron could ever be altered to, it still isn't so powerful that he could effectively cover his entire body with it.

Now, getting back to that "not quite working the way it should" bit i touched on before. When he's using his ability, the injuries he sustained which killed him the last time around will be relived by his body as he uses his manipulation power. These injuries are (and they will appear in this order): seven slashes to the left and four to the right forearm, two stab wounds (delivered by knife) to the back, three gunshot wounds to the stomach, and water in the lungs (call him rasputin if you like, but he was never poisoned). His clothes may be clean now, but as the tournament progresses, they're going to be stained red. Each time he uses his ability, another of these wounds appears. As a result, he avoids personal injury in combat like the plague and will often switch to a weapon which will last him the whole fight.

Personality: (my favorite part)
He's a salesman. He knows how to get what he wants. In conversations, he's very good at making people uncomfortable and is an expert at turning just about any situation to his advantage. He also gives off the impression that he's always in control, even if he has none at all. That being said, he's really arrogant, and other other arrogant people tend to not like him. (call it ego clashing). Because of this, he actually thinks that he can leave the tournament whenever he wants. HAHAHA silly Vernon. He's polite with everybody (for the most part). He's also a bit of a flirt. Dressed to kill, but that's just about it. He actually hates the idea of killing people, and thinks it's very unfair for him to do it when he's sure they couldn't permanently keep him dead. He's all about a fair fight, or even an unfair one so long as the odds are stacked against him. He's confident he could overcome any foe (there's that arrogance again). He's always calm and composed, and he's not afraid of anything (anything). He's open minded, always willing to try new things, and open to all people, their habits, opinions, races (more than just color) and genders. Infact, just about the only thing i can imagine making him angry is seeing a helpless person being attacked/killed by somebody who isn't. This situation includes ANYBODY getting beaten by somebody they don't stand a chance against. Although he holds his tongue until he knows the circumstances. He's not hot blooded. (but now i'm boring you with useless information).

Items/Weapons:
Iron ring
The silver tongue (which i regrettably didn't get the chance to draw, so here's a brief description)
It's a 9" (total length) knife which he keeps sheathed on the inside of his jacket (Left side). It's blade and frame are made of silver (all one piece) with a pearl handle. The handle is 4" long with a small loop at the end which fits perfectly around his pinky finger. It's blade is one inch thick, five inches long, and two sided, beginning to narrow into a point right from the hand guard, forming a perfect symmetrical long triangle. Running down the center of the blade is a smooth spine (basically looks like a rod, just as thick as the hand guard) which also converges into the point at the end. The hand guard is an inch and a half wide, coming out from the blade .25 inches at either end. Remember, the whole thing is one piece except for the two piece pearl handle, attached to either side of the frame. When i get back home, i'll be sure to draw a proper picture of the blade and update the ref, but that won't be until the after deadline has passed so LOL

and UGH!!! a brief history? i wanted to keep that a secret until later in the tournament...

alright... so one day he was just minding his own business, having dinner in his outrageously expensive villa (overlooking the beach of course) when these bitch ass motherfuckers waltzed on into his home and kicked his ass... with a gun and some knives. But the little fucker wouldn't die. No matter how many times they slashed and stabbed him, he kept on fighting. He even managed to break one of their legs. So they popped him a few times in the stomach, rolled his ass up in his 10,000 dollar Persian rug, drove his ass up the river and dumped his still alive body in. He drowned and shit, but nobody ever found his body. (this shit actually happened, even if i'm not being serious about it). He's all "eh, they kill't me" and "i wonder why" (actually as clam and uninterested as i make it sound). He doesn't know who killed him, or why (although there could be a lot of reasons), but as he thinks about it, he will start to understand more the reasons for the 5th semi-successful attempt at his life. He's also a bit concerned that once the witch realizes he's NOT in the same plain of existence as her, she will come looking for him, and won't be happy about it. As he well knows, there are worse things than death.

Ps: (and i know i'm probably giving too much information) Although he doesn't look it, he's one of the good guys.

Pps: on second thought... he is afraid of something. That evil bitch of a witch who made him (slightly) immortal.

ppps: you can permanently kill him... you just need to be clever about it
