For 's contest. The idea was to make your own JLUer, so heres Rose Red, my British hero, who's taken a love for Revolution-era Japan to a whole new level. She's trained in three forms of swordplay, but has a problem with magic, which is a serious hindrance to someone who cant fight it at all.For KOTOR fans, you might recognize the model for her outfit ( top half at elast). Its sorta like the Jedi Robe from KOTOR I, the brown one, not the blue Knight or Red Knight ones that Juhani and Bastila wear. The rest is mostly just me. XD

Rose Red was a horror movie...and I think..it may have been a Steven King book. Good movie, it was on TV a while ago...

Was she inspired by this name? Or is it something that suited her? Just curious as to the level of this character's development

hmm......well shes this idea that came from a story called Sovereign Saga I'm doing...shes inspired by a girl called Aurora Dumbledore in thAT FIC (she comes in waaay late) and since its a " all anime/movie/book worlds are REAL" fic, she and the main characters join the Justice League and all that...
That and red....is the color of blood...and Aurora had to kill n stuff.....so yeah..thats who Rose Red is based on...XD

no, her colors are not her motive. Its her way of reminding herself she isnt innocent. She no longer kills...cuz she did turn her life around just like Aurora does, but she torments herself with her past...shes kinda feels shes still 'sinful' and 'tainted'.

Like someone that can't stand dirty hands, and keeps washing them thinking that htey are dirty. She's kind of like BAtman and MArtian MAnthunter in a way then... *is thoughtfull*
