I keep doing other things besides my other projects which I need to finish up eue This was an idea that was wandering around my brain for a while, so I finally got it done. Sort of AU, almost opposite of the ending of FNAF3, since this is water instead of fire.
Don't know of a story behind this one. If you come up with an idea let me know! <3 I'd love to hear it. All I can think of is that at that moment, Springtrap is feeling a bit of sorrow/regret.

Metaphorically, Springtrap is drowning in his own sorrow. Though he has a way to stay in the physical world, he can't escape the pain and sorrow he feels deep down. (I know that's not the case in this picture, but I love things with deep meaning and symbolism)

Ohhhh I love that deep symbolism o: I can see that being part of what he is "feeling" at the moment in the picture. Just thinks start flooding back to him so he's just overwhelmed by the onslaught of sorrow and pain he feels

as for a story behind it welllllllll~ Springtrap was chasing the night guard, after he had "caught" them and they managed to escape. Maybe springy caught them again, and slammed them against a wall next toΒ an open pipe.Β The force in which he had slammed the guard against it caused the pipe to dent. The force built up in the pipes and before springtrap could kill the guard, the pipes began to burst, and water began pouringΒ from the ceiling and walls. //shrugs// but that's just my theory
