Mermay contribution for day 3, Twisted. Juniper’s tail is modeled after a Koi fish, while Jake’s is after an Asian Arowanas “Dragonfish” - I think you can probably figure out why. The coloration for this piece makes me so happy I’m so many ways! Ive also never drawn a merman before, so pretty stoked about Jake’s visage in this one. I listened to Catch Your Wave by the Click Five while doing this one.Jake Long belongs to Disney.
