I really wanted to do some Mermay Obitine. This is before the Phantom Menace, but after the year on the run making them each around 19 at this point. I gave Obi-Wan freckles because I just wanted to see how it looked and I gotta say Iike it! There are times that people grow out of their freckles and I’d like to think that’s what happened to Obi-Wan over the next six years. I based Satine off a Golden Wonder Killifish because they are stunningly beautiful fish with lovely golden tails that look very regal while Obi-Wan is based off a Short Fin Shark. I had originally planned something different for Obi-Wan, but something just told me, “Shark” and now I’m glad I went with it. Loved designing Satine’s hair too, btw.Satine Kryze and Obi-Wan Kenobi belong to George Lucas and Lucasarts
