Omg my hand! Pain! XDDD I am so proud of this picture!This was inspired by "Wishmaster" by Nightwish. I love that song! So yeah, this is a picture of the 4 Apprentices. Why did I say four? Because Slade is basically Trigon's disciple, so I drew him with the mark of Scath and he's all bones.
I love halftones...it takes me forever, but it's so worth it! Raven's cloak is probably my pride and joy in this picture. The flames took me a while to get the hang of, but I think it worked out nicely.
It took me more than 5 hours to do.

You've done it again mate. Yes, I love the half-tone tool too. It's very pretty, and very useful. And yes, all 4 of them have betrayed their own friends, even if it was for a while. Even Slade betrayed himself and helped the Titans!

Oooooooooh my goodness!!!! The concept, first off, is genius! Apprentice of an apprentice, in a way... The bones are freaky, and the fire looks so cool! And Raven's cloak... I'll just say it's definitely gained its part as your pride and joy. The colored text is a nice effect, too. And I love how Slade's mask looks! Terrifying, and AMAZING! Go PC!

I don't think Raven's an apprentice..is she? She's just the portal unless you count that as one.
Anyways, her cape is awesome! XD Ahh Slade looks all..dead-ish with the bones showing..kinda creepy..but it's love. <3

Well, Slade and Trigon are pretty much able to manipulate her in doing what they want her to do. In the comics, Raven is destined to follow in her father's footsteps and rule by his side, so that's more of an apprenticeship. I can also see in the show that Trigon's hold on Raven's mind could make her into basically his slave...he controls her...kinda like Slade controlled Robin.
