The next morning.

There was someone singing, "It's morning! It's morning! It's morning! It's morning!" over and over again and it woke Teal up. He open his eyes and with a yawn.

"Time to get ready." He said to himself and head to the bathroom to brush his teeth, than he got dressed and eat breakfast which is pancakes. Than finally he went into the locker room to grab his katana. It is a tradition katana that has teal strapping on its handle. It combines with its scabbard to form its sniper function, the scabbard is also a teal color with golden ocean wave designs.

"Ok... No more small talk, now it's time to show Beacon what I'm made of and I'll let Fanged Ocean do all the talking." He said to himself which a small giggle can be heard behind him.

"Fanged Ocean? That's a cool name." Teal looked behind him and saw Ivory standing there with a mechanical arm over her right arm.

"Hiya." "Hello, my name's Teal Cerul." Teal introduced himself to Ivory which she smiled at him and he returned the smile.

"The name's Ivory Jade..." She held her mechanical hand out which he shook her hand. He noticed her strips on her face and body, she noticed this and had an angry look on her face.

"Well?!" "Huh?" Teal looked at Ivory's face and could tell that she was mad at something.

"Aren't you going to insult me for being a Faunus?!"

He realize what she was talking about.

"What! No! I think that your strips look cool and make you look cute." "Well for your information I am proud of what I- wait what now?"

She blinked a couple times in confusion. He smiled a nice smile and said.

"You know... you almost sound like a friend of mine. Hey! Let's go meet her!" "Sure." She grabbed his arm and dragged him to where Pyrrha was talking to Weiss. Pyrrha turned around to see her friend with someone she hasn't met before but she has seen him with Jaune yesterday. She smiled at them and waved.

"Hello, I believe that we haven't met." "My name's Teal, Teal Cerul." Teal introduced himself which Pyrrha smile and said.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Teal, my name is Prryha Nikos." Teal scratch his head in confusion.

"Where have I've heard that before?" Weiss was about to say something but the intercom turned on which Glynda was on it and said.

"Would all first-year students please report to Beacon Cliff for initiation? Again, all first-year students report to Beacon Cliff immediately." Teal and Ivory were both excited to show everyone their skills.

"Well, this is it. The moment we've all been waiting for." "Why are we standing here for?! Let's go!" Prryha, Ivory, Weiss, Ruby, Yang, and Jaune all where to the cliff while Teal went back to his locker to grab two bottles of water.

"Never know when you need water." He said to himself and headed to the cliff.

At Beacon Cliff.

All of the first-year students were standing on sliver in front of Ozpin who has his mug with Glynda by his side on a tablet. He took a sip out of his mug and said.

"For years, you have trained to become warriors, and today, your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest." All the students listen to what Ozpin said, Glynda stepped forward and said.

"Now, I'm sure many of you have heard rumors about the assignment of "teams." Well, allow us to put an end to your confusion. Each of you will be given teammates... today." "What? Ohhh..." Teal looked at his friend who was worrying about the whole team assignment. He raised his hand which Ozpin raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, Mister Cerul?" "Permission to move next to Miss Rose?" Ruby looked at Teal while Ozpin nod and said.

"If it's alright with miss Rose, than I don't see why not." Teal smiled and traded places with another student that was next to Ruby's right.

"As I was saying. These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon. So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone with whom you can work well." Ruby groan a little bit but Teal patted her back as Ozpin continued to speak.

"That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years." "Whaaaat?!" Ruby felt as though her world has shattered into a million of pieces.

"After you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest. You will meet opposition along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path... or you will die." Jaune laughed nervously and made a heavy gulp.

"You will be monitored and graded through the duration of your initiation, but our instructors will not intervene. You will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics. Each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff. You will guard that item, as well as your standing, and grade you appropriately. Are there any questions?" Jaune raised his hand and said.

"Yeah, um, sir?" "Good! Now, take your positions." All the students strike a pose on their tile. Yang raises her fists, Ruby readies her body, Jaune was still raising his hand, Teal pulled out one of the bottles of water that he had and Ivory spun a dial on her arm that changed it into a tiger's claw.

"Uh, sir? I've got, um... a question." Weiss' tile rockets her into the air and over the forest, as the other tiles activate down the line. Jaune continues to ask his question.

"So, this landing... strategy thing... Uh, wha-what is it? You're, like, dropping us off or something?" "No. You will be falling." Ozpin said as more students get thrown.

"Oh, uh, I see... So, like, did you hand out parachutes for us?" "No. You will be using your own "landing strategy."" Teal smiled and whisper to Ruby.

"The perfect time to show off our skills." "Uh-huh... Yeah." It was now Yang's turn and she winks at Ruby, puts on a pair of aviators and flies off with a "Woo-hoooooooo!" a second later Ruby joins her along with Teal behind her.

"So, what exactly is a landing strategYYY!..." Jaune gets hurled into the cloud of students now making their way down into the forest below under the eyes of teachers. Ozpin takes a sip of his drink as he watches the students fly through the air.
