Just when you thought I'd stopped messing around with clay, this happens! A.E.D is my favourite character from 's Hedone High and he more than deserves his own figure. His hair is a nightmare to try and sculpt, though..D is my third attempt at making a figure and I think he came out pretty well, if you're willing to overlook the lack of a nose - and the equally jarring lack of an Izm. He's made from sculpey and armature wire. Pose reference was taken fromΒ this early pixel art .

Like, especially the face. I'm just assuming but, depnding on the size of the figure, the face seems like it'd be the hardest part to get the details just right.

I'm flattered that you think it's good! I just watched a lot of how-to videos on Youtube. They were intended for air-dry clay rather than sculpey, but most of the techniques transferred.

Yeah, I usually have to redo a couple steps, but I'm stubborn enough to redo a good third of the project. Any more than that and I give up, though~

Oh my gosh, thank you for commenting!Β My phone has terrible image quality, I swear he's much nicer to look at in person. I'm really glad you think he came out okay despite that!
.D is the most detailed figure I've tried so far - it took me like a week to finish him. The HH was a bit of a last-minute addition and you can kinda tell.
The lack of an Izm is the least realistic thing about this figure! I'll have to make him some company when I have time to dabble in clay again~
