Made a portal gun for my costume.If it's not entirely accurate... well, I didn't have to pay anything to make it. Everything that went into the portal gun I already had in my house. So I think that's a good tradeoff. If you want an accurate one, it costs a lot and also requires a lot of construction knowledge, which I don't have.
I'm really happy with it.
