In hand, puzzle-pieces of letters
Vaguely resembling love
In spirit I am tortured
But I’m missing you anyway
Boxes of unfinished thoughts are hidden in the shadows
Behind closed closet doors
She never understood my ways
So I forget those days
Layers of scotch tape line it fully
But it only bares the weight
Sadly I smile for her
Knowing I’m lying to myself
I just never saw your reasons
Topped off with treasons
Going out of your way to break my heart
I served it on a platter
Case closed, gaze found a way
And she listens to me ask your name
How I ever thought I’d make it
Guess I never thought it through

its hard to explain....its....truthful, in a way, something that shows feelings and emotion....not a lot of people write this way....its shows sadnees, but no fear in trying to show it
