It's gym battle time! I really like what I did for the background of Roxanne's gym. Though maybe it was to my detriment because it made the page take a lot longer than it should have lmao. oh well I like it.
I also really wanted to try and make each Gym Leader's and important trainers pokemon look unique. So I designed the geodude and nosepass ahead of time, and honestly I am really proud of how they look, especially the nosepass. makes her look more mobile than its canon design.

...and yeah as people could probably guess in game this battle was easy. I had a shroomish and a mudkip I wasn't worried. I even gave both of them an oran berry just in case (held items are allowed in hardcore rules) and I think only cabbage used his. But I gotta hype up the battle in the comic for drama's sake, yannow?
