I've been looking forward to this page since the beginning of the comic. Maple's Evolution was something that wasn't that exciting in game. The level cap for the second gym was 16, so she hit that and evolved during training in the cave. So I...changed around a couple of in game events. While you can encounter Steven in the original games before the second gym, you're locked from doing that in ORAS. But I decided to make it happen before then in this comic. I don't think it'll affect too much but it works for the story.
I'm sure Maple's fine btw.
