Ok, so... who else thought this scene in the graphic novels could have been done better? I do. I wont say I did it justice, but I think I may have improved it.I wont label this as mature unless someone would like me to. In my opinion, it just isn't gory enough to warrant it.

The way you drew this muscles on these two is amazing. They both look powerful, and it adds a certain tone that fits really well with this drawing. Your talons are amazing as well, especially Gill's. In fact, the way you draw legs in general is fantastic. Tsunami's expression looks great as well, almost even more defiant than the original comic panel. I also love the cell shading! It matches with the comic theme. I think Tsunami's left wing could use a little more love; there is kind of a lack of shading in that area. Gill doesn't look particularly crazy in this panel, as well. It is true that he is dead, but I maybe would've at least made his eyes look a little more insane. Overall though, I think this is an amazing piece!

Your right, I probably could have added more to her wing, I was just having a very hard time figuring out the lighting. I'll have to remember to slow down next time!
As for gill, I decided try the sort of pupil dilation that happens when death occurs. I guess it did make him look less crazy, huh? I think adding his lower jaw or showing teeth could have helped, what do you think?
Im really happy you liked the cell shading though! The shading was a bit of a pain this time!

Totally! I've been in the same boat as you for sure. As for Gill, yeah I think that might've helped! Now that you mention the pupil dilation, I can see how that makes him look more crazy, although teeth would've been awesome!

A very odd trick of the eye i'd say. It was correctly spelled before I edited the lettering. I was even seeing it wrong.
To rectify, I redid the word. Hopefully that odd illusion doesnt show up again! Thank you for pointing it out to me!
