Before I say anything else, I have to thank [link] for giving me the idea for this pic and making me go through with it. I also was urged by [link] - my girlfriend.So this is what happens when Foku and the gang are made to sit down for a serious 'family' photo... Hal gets out of place and gnaws on Fo's bandages, Emie can't help but show off and fly around, and Goll just sits there looking disgruntled with Doll on his head. Yes, these are all my characters.
I started this about a month ago, and finally got around to finishing the background and scanning it. I had to do it in 5 or 6 pieces, because it's a big pic. 14"x17", to be precise. I spent all day on it in Photoshop. I don't much like the coloring, but it was even more horrible before I added the nuclear/sulfuric rain glow to everyone. I'm just glad I'm done with it. I hate working all day on a pic and then not being satisfied with the final product. I am pleased with the lineart though... check out those hanging cloths. Wooo.
I'll be doing more group shots once I have all my main characters designed (right now I'm missing two).. but until then... boy, I can't wait to start uploading pics that I *haven't* spent all day on.

Friggin' eh! Awesome job dude! Love the colouring. Makes it almost look like one of those old photos, but with a little colour. The big guy looks so sad though lol. Nicely done!^___^

I really like the linework you've done here too, especially on Foku's body and face. My eyes is dragged directly on him for some reason and i really like his collarbone too ^_^
I really should say something about the rest of the picture but Foku is all i want to look at; and that's really not meant to be insulting or anything, it's all great but Foku is my favourite bit of the picture

Apart from the fact that the two girls look practically the same, I have no problem with this picture. In fact, I think it is very very good, especially the colouring.

I love it, Fo!! It has a very 3-d look to it, which makes it all the more like a group photo. :] They glooooow so well~ The two things that keep attracting my attention are the (1) lovely draping cloth in the bkg, and (2) Emiel's red-glowing wings and Hal's green-glowing hair. The contrast there is GREAT. *fav* 8DD I personally think it looks like it was worth a day's work~

Of course, I have to give props to the coloring. It's absolutely wonderful and I don't think I'll ever be up to your skill level. I also love how everyone is posing..or maybe the lack of posing. I especially love Foku's V. That's the sexiest part of a guy's body. ^_^

That pretty cool. Do you use that blur on most of your artworks? Ive noticed it in a few others. It gives your art an "ambience". How many artists can say that?
