I wanted to see how realistic I can make a zeltbahn in PDN. I dug through all my old files and came across some old planetree patterns I made a while back.I added in a background texture, dirt, wear spots, and stitching. I simulated the erratic SS camo printing by offsetting the layers in the camo

Crosshatched texture rocks. Reminds me more of NYCO trousers (I guess WWII uniforms used polyester and cotton?) though.

German Zeltbahns were generally made of very coarse cotton...late in the war they started adding in rayon. The fabric was so thick and tightly woven it was waterproof without the addition of and chemicals.
