Thank you Yes, it took lot of patience, I had one hand dropping the ice cube, and another on the camera but it was worth it

Thank you, I just used my kit lens (18-55mm) and shot in RAW. It took so many trys to get a good one

wow, that is impressive, how did you get so good macro and focus? i have 18mm-55mm too, and my pictures get all blurry if i'm too close..

I'm zoomed in to 55mm so focusing wasn't that much of an issue.. I have a pretty small depth of field though, you can tell by the blurred water droplets.. But like I said it took A LOT of tries, lol

It appears you did this by shaking the table the glass is sitting on...I really like it. Most of the time you see a single splash from a drop of water...this is really nice and busy. Great Job!!!

Actually with one hand I help down the shutter to snap a series of photos, and with the other hand I dropped the ice cube.. It took awhile before I got any good results, I just like this one because some water droplets are in focus and some arent. Thank you for the comment

I didn't notice the ice cube...I thought it was swirling water. Now I feel like a putz...

Perhaps it's the photographers fault

I doubt it. It may just be because it looks kind of small on my comp...I've got my resolution set pretty high. Regardless of ice cube or not...It's still an excellent image.

If that was in a glass it would be like a glass within the glass :3
