have you tried going back over your work to create more depth. It's a really simple and successful technique when you want to make your work more three dimensional. I recently uploaded an image of T.O.P from bigbang...and simply by going back to the image...i noticed many faults in the image and i was able to correct the image. Anyway keep on striving to improve, okay. I'll do the same. but I must admit, you're definitely better than me at this sorta thing. but i'm still pretty good for a 16 year old so i've got plenty of time to catch up.

I'm not so concerned with the photo realism and making things pop.... I like there to be a sense of stylization and I like when people can see my work and know it's me without the watermark or the obvious link. Even in my paintings, I'd rather they seem somewhat impressionistic.
But yes, you have plenty of time. I've only been doing portraits for a little over a year, but it's been a great journey.
