*cough*We're going to call this a practice... and I'm going to hide behind the fact that I was sick, went to KCon, and spent 2 days taking my kids to Disneyland... and apparently..all of that can affect one's ability to execute a portrait..

This didn't come out the way my head saw it ... about halfway there... and it was lookin okay, then I finished it and went...ooops.
Anywho... I'll go back to my photorealistic attempts next.

I love how your shading is done on this one... it gives it a bit of a monochromatic pop art feel. Especially digging how that hue of red is the only smidge of color; it really gives the whole piece a lovely contrast. Great work, as always!

Thank you... I originally planned for it to be all monochrome, but I couldn't resist that bright red eye shadow...

When I finished, I panicked and thought it didn't quite look like Kai... Like I'd messed up his chin or eye... Something just looked a little off..., but I'm glad people seem to like it.
