Just out of curiosity, I noticed you choose certain pictures to draw, how do you select a picture to draw?

Usually it shows up on my tumblr dashboard, my jaw drops to the floor and I reblog it with the hashtag 'drawing this one tonight'
Whenever one looks like it would make a good facial portrait, I save it to a folder on my desktop and if I don't feel particularly inspired then I'll rummage through the folder until something pops out at me.
Basically... I usually am particularly inspired at that moment by that picture.

Wow! So you have a load of inspiration to pick from. I have one more question, how do you usually edit the picture? Most of the pictures I see are more of the body then I want.

I usually edit the images on the computer to play with composition. So I'll crop the picture down to just the face... sometimes I'll even change it to black and white and play with the contrast to see what will look good or if it'll be too dark or too light. Once I have what I like, I'll use the edited image to get my initial sketch and kinda plan it out, then I reference the original image if there's anything I'm unsure about... that might have gotten distorted while I was playing with the picture.
