The way you did the hair is nothing less than admirable.
Usually, on my drawings, what happens is I spend entirely too long on facial features and then neglect the hair. It then turns into a bunch of lines. XD fail
man. i wish the real james would look at me like that.
also, incredible job on the nose. he has a really hard nose to draw. from experience.

I really admire your devotion to this art. It (as you said) took 40+ hours, and I bet there was patience in every minute. It is beautiful. You have just inspired me to work on my James Franco picture more. Thank you for that.

Alright.... I feel bad coming and giving criticism after everyone just uber praised this picture lol but it's constructive so please bear with me. The left cheek looks a bit off. Franco has a really straight, sharp jawline which you did capture well, but the left one is just off a bit. Also, I'd really work on defining your shading a bit more. It seems somewhat harsh in this picture but that may just be the style you chose.
EITHER WAY, it looks great overall and I love the great job you did with the hair, eyes, and eyebrows
