Description
Stepping out onto the still surface of the pond before you, you keenly feel a sense of dread even before the path you came from seals itself shut behind you. You pad slowly on the surface to the centre of the pool, silent ripples spreading from your paws as the pool itself seems to illuminate beneath them. You peer down into the inky depths of the temple pool - it seems the only way out is down. You have always been a stubborn creature, even before your untimely end, but now it seems you have no choice now but to dive into the waves below and face whatever test the temple has prepared for you.

You don't feel ready, but you throw yourself in anyway - and feel yourself dragged down by the weight of something. Your past, the people you left behind, your passion...all surface here as you are pulled down in a seemingly endless spiral - flickering on the walls by the light emitted from the depths. It wants you to let go, but you can't. It's weighing you down, making you resentful and bitter and yet you feel it gives you purpose all the same. You resist as long as you are able (and it's a good thing you no longer need to breathe as you resist for what felt like an eternity as you mulled things over) before finally, you agree to let one thing go. The temple seems to think this is good enough. You float to the surface and emerge from the still water, shaking and soaked to the core but lighter somehow as you wonder what else the temple has in store. It seems it wants you to suffer, you think miserably to yourself.

My poor (evil) boy is not having a good time being forced to get...emotional. How he despises it - let him go back to his collection, dammit!
