This month's monthly prompt featured the theme on looking back on old artwork and re-doing an older piece you have drawn c:

I've decided to re-do an old origin prompt featuring somber:

I never was really satisified with how it turned out (there is just so much wrong and funky with it). So I thought it would be a good pick!

I'm honestly really happy with how the new version turned out and it really helped me see how much I have improved since back then! The new version also really brings across Somber's boundary much better (I remember not wanting to draw much of the background in the older version haha), as she lives on a gloomy beach. The anatomy, as well as composition are also much better.

A really fun challenge and I am happy I did it c:

I'm honestly really happy with how the new version turned out and it really helped me see how much I have improved since back then!
