I saw a tribute video to the series befroe I ever saw the actual show, and it had a clip from this scene, so I watched all the episodes wondering which one it would appear in

Ah yes. I first saw an episode from series 1, then saw series 2 from Meat onwards. It took me a while to track down DVDs of the 1st series to see it, but it was worth it

My sister and I were late to the series, so we bought the box sets, and were in the middle of watching JackxIanto kinky time on a massive flatscreen TV when my mum walks in and my sister's like "s***! turn it off!"
My parents don't know that scene exists. They're too busy trying to work out who's Gwen's boyfriend.

Lol same here. Whenever my mom joins me watching and sees a special moment between Jack and Gwen and then Gwen going home to Rhys, she gets so confused and asks so many questions. XD

Mine are like that, except they can't even get their head around the plot. They saw Ghost Machine and were like "Hmmm...running...aliens...RhysxGwen...more aliens, running, and drinks...JackxGwen? Huh? How do you kids keep up with this?!"

Aww lol too fast-paced. My mom was scared that it was going to get graphic with a rape scene (she's scared of CSI, too) and she left when I was watching that episode XD
I always thought Jack and Gwen were cute together, but I would never want Rhys's sweet heart to be broken

True. Tosh is good at keeping things to herself. I really don't think Rhys would have married Gwen if he knew about her and Owen.
One thing I don't get is in End of Days, when Gwen decides to open the Rift to bring Rhys back, after everything goes back to normal, she completely ignores him and mopes over Jack's dead body. All that effort to bring him back and then she just cries over dead Jack?

I guess it shows that even though Gwen loves Rhys, she still has feelings for Jack. As strange as that seems.
I love the scene where Jack finds out that Gwen is engaged! He was so sad
